Fees

Original Engage

The fees for original Engage, which cover the teaching, learning support, distance learning materials and the assessment for the modules covered are:

  • £10 Registration fee for all Engage Learners.
    Plus one of the following options:
  • £20 Attendance at one Day Conference
  • £30 Attendance at one Day Conference and the module Workbook
  • £60 Attendance at one Day Conference, Workbook and Assessment
  • £70 Attendance at one Day Conference, Workbook, Assessment and OCN Certificate

Please note that fees do not include lunch! The overall cost for undertaking the original Engage! course will remain the same through to the end of August 2009. Payment should be by cheque made payable to: 'Centre for Youth Ministry', by BACS transfer or by standing order.


New Engage

If you pay the full amount at the start of the Course or set up a standing order, then there will be no increase over original Engage! This is amazing value as Engage! prices have not changed for six years.

With New Engage there are only six day events, consequently, Learners will experience lower travel and child-care costs, have fewer handbooks/exercises to complete and there will be a higher qualification available. Currently if you want to take the full Original Engage! (including registration fee and OCN Certificates) then the total cost is £570.

SPECIAL OFFER

As a special introductory offer the cost will be £500 all inclusive, if the application form is completed and payment is made in full, or BACS transfer or standing order instructions commenced before 31st March 2008. From 1st April 2008 the price will rise to £570.

The fee structure for New Engage is as follows:

    Option 1 (before 31st March 2008)
  • £500 in full at the start of the Course or £100 followed by ten monthly payments of £40.00
    Option 2 (from 1st April 2008)
  • £570 in full at the start of the Course or £90 and then 12 monthly payments of £40.00

Both of the above options include a non-refundable amount of £90 which covers registration and the first Unit.

    Option 3 - Payment by Unit
  • £10.00 Registration Fee for all Engage Learners
    Plus one of the following options
  • £20.00 Unit Day Training event only
  • £30.00 Unit Day Training event and Unit Handbook
  • £80.00 Unit Day, Handbook and Assessment
  • £90.00 Unit Day, Handbook, Assessment and OCN Certificate

Payment should be by cheque made payable to: 'Centre for Youth Ministry', by BACS transfer or by standing order.

Other Venues
Other venues can be arranged if we, or you can find a minimum of 15 people wanting to do the course who live within a one/one and a half hour travelling radius! Where venues can find 15 students, we will be able to provide a qualified tutor for the group.


When can you start?
You can join the course at any point. If you register as a student for the qualification it would help to begin with Module 1 because it explains a lot about the course and how it runs and is the obvious place to start!
Check the web site or with the office for dates. Once into the course you do not necessarily have to take the Modules in sequence and can join Stage 2 Modules if they are more convenient when you have taken the Gateway Module.
